⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The crispy duck alone is worth the trip. One bite and I was hooked. The skin was beautifully crisp, while the meat stayed tender and juicy. It was savory without being greasy, and the slightly sweet dipping sauce complemented it perfectly. The Mamak Roti Canai was another standout. That spicy coconut kari ... gravy was rich, aromatic, and seriously finger-licking good. I wanted another order, but I had to save room for the mains. I went with the Nasi Goreng Indonesia and Malaysian Coconut Kari, and both were packed with bold, authentic flavors. Every dish tasted thoughtfully seasoned and incredibly satisfying. I’m from Texas, and after this meal, I only have one complaint: Mamak Asian Street Food needs a location in Dallas. If you live in Orlando or are visiting, put this restaurant on your list. This place is pretty amazing. Malaysia sits between India and “Asia” and the cuisine reflects these influences. They also have dishes from Indonesia and Hong Kong. I got the Kari Mee noodle soup and it did not disappoint. A slightly spicy curry broth, with fresh egg noodles, tender chicken, bean sprouts and shrimp. ... Every time I’ve ordered a noodle soup with shrimp, the shrimp is always over cooked and tough, but somehow they figured out how to cook the shrimp perfect. Had this place saved from a while ago and found ourselves back in Orlando and needed a place to eat. Everything we ordered was delicious! I'd be hard pressed to pick favorite or least favorite item. Lucas was our server, and he was wonderful! He was very attentive, kept checking on us, and even apologized for the wait because they had a larger party. Honestly, we didn’t feel like we waited long at all, and we really appreciated his thoughtfulness in bringing us water while we waited. The food was amazing, and ... the atmosphere was just as great. Parking is quite tight since it's Mills 50. Noodles were pretty good and the salad was pretty refreshing. Prices were reasonable.
